Financial Management Specialist - # 2025-20

Purpose Of Position

Provide a wide variety of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case management support.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential):

• Perform FMS case reconciliation actions within databases such as CISIL, DIFS, PBAS, GFEBS, SOMARDS, CCOPES, DSAMS, SCRT, LMP, and SDW.
• Review financial reports ensuring that the, obligation, expenses, and disbursements have been billed properly to proceed with case closure.
• Recon and Assist in the correction of ULO’s and NULO’s as needed with various BMO Offices
• Assist the SAMD correcting UCR inconsistencies and other incompatibilities.
• Prepare and process billing adjustments, correct accessorial discrepancies, and update inhibitor codes.
• Exhibit analytical skills with raw data to make complex decisions in the data reconciliation process.
• Coordinate with other departments and organizations to return excess OA, make CAS adjustments, and complete 1080 /1081 forms.
• Selfmotivated to work independently, with minimal supervision or direction.
• Assist other Army Commands (CECOM, AMCOM, and TACOM) with reconciliation of debit and credit accounts to certify and close each case line.
• Provide ongoing support for the LOA Review Process within the G8.
• Provide support for other duties as assigned with proper approval.
  
  

Qualifications:

• An Active US Government Security Clearance
• Ten years of related increasingly complex and progressive experience.
• Related Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (desirable)
• In lieu of a degree, six additional years of related experience is required.
• Applicant must possess excellent oral and written skills.
• Prior experience with Army Logistic systems is highly desirable.
• Prior experience with FMS is desirable.
• Must have working, demonstratable knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products such as Excel, Word and Teams.

• Work environment is business casual attire in an office atmosphere.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to operate a computer for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to operate a phone both making and receiving calls and taking or conveying information.
• Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Occasionally lifts/moves up to 25 pounds.
