Hospital is looking for a locum neurosurgeon to provide weekend call coverage and hospital rounding services.
Job Details:
- Shift time: 24 hour, 7a-7a, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, every 3rd weekend of the month
- Assignment: Call coverage and round on current hospital patients, including any trauma or emergency that comes through the ER
- Setting: Inpatient
- FTE: 1.0
- # Providers Needed: 1
Key Responsibilities:
- Call coverage and hospital rounding on current hospital patients
- Round on current hospital patients, including any trauma or emergency that comes through the ER
Additional Requirements:
- Board Certified ONLY (REQUIRED)
- Active AR license (REQUIRED)
Credentialing Information:
- Timeframe: 30-60 days
- Requirements: AR license, BC
- Credentialing with other facilities: No
Support Staff:
- 2 surgeons and 2 APRN's
Typical Cases:
- Brain and Spine Trauma
Other Information:
- EMR: EPIC
- Patients per Day: Average 10 or less
- 50/50 mix of cranial and spine cases
- Level II trauma center in the state of Arkansas
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
