The Credentialing Clerk is responsible for all third-party credentialing and re-credentialing of clinical and medical staff. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintain a master roster of organizations providers, credentialed payors, NPI numbers, licensures, CAQH profiles, and renewal/expiration dates. Obtain an NPI for providers, if necessary. Enroll and complete initial CAQH Provider Enrollment. Enroll providers with all applicable payors based on licensure. Maintain group/location enrollments and a master roster of such. Perform CAQH attestations every 120 days. Maintain up to date rosters for each payor. Update all data as required in a timely manner. Maintain current knowledge on credentialing requirements for each payor. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Basic computer skills and the ability to interact with and learn various software programs. Demonstrated ability to communicate effective both written and oral.
