What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist Assistant position at ProMotion Rehab and Sports Medicine?
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a self-driven, disciplined Physical Therapist Assistant for our Camden, SC clinic—someone who thrives with autonomy, takes ownership of their craft, and is motivated by growth rather than micromanagement. Experience levels are flexible (new graduate through seasoned clinician); mindset matters most.
Our ideal candidate:
✅️ Is a self-starter who manages their time, patients, and professional development independently
✅️ Is excited to practice in a bright, open clinic with floor-to-ceiling windows, across from a park, in a historic downtown community undergoing revitalization
✅️ Values collaboration and will work alongside an up-and-coming, highly caring Clinical Director (and avid semi-professional pickleball player)
✅️ Has interest in or curiosity around niche development—or is an excellent generalist who wants to grow intentionally
We’ve successfully built and supported niches including dance medicine, endurance athletes, fitness-forward rehab, and have added dry needling and blood flow restriction training at the direction of our clinical team. Just as importantly, we don’t force niches—we help clinicians identify their passions and build toward them, whether that’s primary care PT, athletes, ACLs, shoulders, vestibular, or something entirely different.
At ProMotion, we believe in hiring great people and creating a supportive system—not micromanaging. Your success is our success, and we’re committed to building roles around clinicians who want to grow and practice with purpose.
