Requirements:
- At least two years of experience in the following areas is preferred.
- Troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures, appliances, and associated components
- Drywall installation, repair, and finishing
- Painting
- Cabinetry installation
- General carpentry - including, but not limited to, door installation and repair, framing, and trim work.
- Kitchen and bathroom hardware installations
- Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record and criminal background check.
- Access to dedicated and reliable transportation.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
- Ability to participate in the on-call rotation when required.
- Must provide basic hand tools and possess the ability to use power tools safely.
- Able to prioritize and schedule work assignments according to project needs while ensuring a high level of work quality.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- EPA 608 Certification Type I and Type II along with familiarity with HVAC troubleshooting and repair are preferred.
- Ability to perform the essential physical qualifications (listed below).
Responsibilities:
- Participate in projects as assigned with the willingness and ability to complete independently and in a team setting.
- Participate in the care, maintenance, and inventory of all company-owned equipment.
- Apply all safety standards and practices associated with maintenance operations.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment appropriate for the task at hand.
- Effectively communicate with clientele, vendors, and peers professionally and courteously.
- Assist maintaining in the overall curb appeal of a property through ongoing monitoring and cleanup of trash, debris, abandoned vehicles or other items that require attention.
- Assist in the completion of service requests, preventative maintenance, and the turn-key process.
- Assist other team members and complete other projects and duties as assigned.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.
- Ability to work long hours in inclement weather and emergency situations such as snow removal, excessive heat, storms, etc.
- Work in awkward, confining, or uncomfortable positions.
Authority:
- Recommend changes to the position and job duties which will improve efficiency and safety.
Relationships:
- Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Takes direction from the Maintenance Supervisor, the Director of Property Management, the Assistant Director of Property Management, and the Property Manager.
