Property Paving, a Rose Paving Company and trusted name in pavement solutions, is seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Lead to join our growing team. This position supports the Foreman in managing the daily operations of the concrete crew and is responsible for hands-on execution of demoing, forming, and finishing concrete.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge in concrete construction who can guide crews, manage site work, and ensure all phases of the project are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all on-site concrete activities.
- Assign daily tasks to crew members and ensure work is performed efficiently and correctly.
- Perform advanced concrete work, including:
- ADA ramps
- F curbing, D curbing
- Valley gutters
- Header curbing
- Flatwork, footers, retaining walls
- Read and execute blueprints; resolve on-site issues and provide alternative solutions.
- Submit daily production reports and crew timesheets to the Concrete Superintendent.
- Track material usage, labor hours, and production yields.
- Maintain and manage assigned company equipment; ensure cleanliness and proper function.
- Oversee quality and accuracy of all completed work.
- Uphold safety standards, enforce crew expectations, and maintain high morale.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and jobsite cleanliness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a concrete foreman or in a similar leadership role
- Strong hands-on knowledge of concrete forming, grading, and finishing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Concrete certification (a plus)
- OSHA certification (a plus)
- Valid CDL license (a plus)
