The ideal candidate will play a key role in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing mental health conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat behavioral health conditions, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and ADHD.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring ongoing monitoring and appropriate adjustments.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medication management.
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide telehealth services as needed to expand access to care.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current APRN license in the state of Oklahoma with a specialization in psychiatry or behavioral health (PMHNP preferred).
- Board certification in psychiatric-mental health nursing (PMHNP-BC) is a plus.
- Strong experience in diagnosing and managing behavioral health conditions.
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with psychotropic medication management.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth platforms.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
