We are looking for an HR Operations Manager – Workday to support our dynamic HR department. The ideal candidate will need extensive experience using Workday, have a background in HRIS and analytics, and be well-organized and detail-oriented. This position will report to the VP of Total Rewards and will focus on supporting system interfaces, developing reporting solutions, and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency. Maintaining accurate data and confidentiality is imperative – this individual will be responsible for all data entered into the system. This role is also responsible for processing payroll twice a month in Workday.
Responsibilities:
- Manage HR applications and day-to-day activities of employee data within Workday.
- Process employee data, generate HR reports and maintain data integrity.
- Develop technology solutions to support business objectives.
- Responsible for ensuring seamless, streamlined processes that require interface between HRIS and other systems, including Payroll.
- Review security settings and role assignments regularly to preserve data integrity.
- Lead payroll processing twice a month in Workday and ADP. Ensure the time-tracking module is working properly and feeding to ADP.
- Oversee other operational processes such as on and off boarding, ensuring the system is working properly.
- Serve as HR Data subject matter expert an liaison.
- Provide other process recommendations, as needed.
- Assist with other projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 4 years’ experience with Workday required
- Broad experience with HR technologies, systems, and reporting
- Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Detailed orientated, focus on data accuracy and system integrity
- Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive data
- Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- This position will require you to interact with all levels within the HR department
- Experience processing payroll processing a plus
- Experience managing others is a plus
