We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our consulting team and support one of our leading clients in the automotive/manufacturing sector. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and business teams to build automated solutions, manage end-to-end data projects, and drive insights through powerful analytics.
💼 What You’ll Do:
- Design & implement automated data solutions for business domains such as Accounting, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain
- Build and manage ETL pipelines, scalable data models (e.g., star schema), and optimize transformation processes
- Collaborate with technical & non-technical stakeholders across business units
- Drive compliance with audit and SOX requirements for Finance-related data
- Support analytics and reporting with tools like Power BI, Looker, SSRS, or Tableau
- Lead best practices across coding, documentation, and performance optimization
🧠 What You’ll Bring:
- 5 years of experience in data engineering with strong SQL skills
- Hands-on expertise with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Airflow, Informatica, Luigi)
- Proficient in Python, Java, or similar
- Knowledge of distributed systems: Kafka, Spark, etc.
- Strong data warehousing & dimensional modeling (SQL Server, Vertica, Oracle)
- Experience with OLAP/BI tools (e.g., SSAS, Hyperion, Cognos)
- Excellent communication; capable of working with Accounting, Finance, and Compliance teams
- Background in Banking/Finance/Accounting is a plus
