What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endocrinology Physician position at Protean Med Inc?
Looking for 1-2 Locums Endocrinologists to help with their ongoing need!
Location: Jackson, MI
Will consider locum, locum to perm, and perm providers.
Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospital Based and Outpatient Clinic
Reason for Coverage: Growth
Dates of Coverage: April 2025 - onward
Inpatient need: Monday - Sunday onsite is 6:30am-3pm; remaining hours are night and weekend call
Outpatient need: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm
Call Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Call Ratio: 1:2
Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 16 inpatients
Documentation System/EMR: Epic
Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma II - not applicable to endocrinology
Support Staff: APP support for IP Endo coverage. They are on site daily from 6:30am-2:30/3:00 pm.
The APP s do not provide after hours coverage.
Board Certified
Is a Fellowship Required?: Yes
Will you Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License? Yes
Certification Requirement (BLS, ACLS, etc.): BLS,
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:90- 120 days Submission Requirements

2 hour gratis for night call- Required
