Job Summary
Rapidly growing prosthetic manufacturer seeks high-quality, detail-oriented entry-level assembly technician to help produce the newest technology in composite and elastomer materials for cutting-edge prosthetic feet. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has the following experience:
- Fine finish woodworking
- Work in a technically challenging environment with strict adherence to quality control
- Work with tools / power equipment and doing hand work in a technical / mechanical environment
- Understand and adhere to manufacturing processes with written procedures and requirements
Responsibilities and Duties
- Sand, grind, buff, grit blast, prepare surfaces for adhesive bonding, apply solvents and adhesives
- Follow specific directives on standardized documentation and procedures
- Maintain accurate assembly records on standardized documentation
- Prepare prosthetic foot components for assembly
- Assemble prosthetic feet using an adhesive bonding process
- Finish and inspect products in preparation for sale
- Prepare foot sub-assemblies for use in future process
- Fabricating rubber components using compression molding technique
- Inspect and/or repair/rework feet and components
- Maintain clean & safe work environment
- Assist with other necessary elements of manufacturing

Qualifications and Skills
- Must possess mechanical aptitude and spatial skills and be able to use those skills to solve problems
- Must have sufficient manual dexterity to precisely manipulate, hold, and place small parts
- Must be excellent in maintaining documentation and paperwork
- Must be detail oriented with an excellent attention span and an eye for high quality work
- Must have good work ethic and be a self-starter / proactive in accomplishing work
- Must be able to work autonomously and take direction when necessary
- Must be able to work well with others in a cooperative fashion
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to adapt to significant change in demand for products very quickly
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work a flexible schedule between 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday
- Overtime may be required during high volume days
