Job Title: Pharmacist (RPh)

Location: Columbus, OH

Job Type: Contract

Shift: 4 shifts per week, 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week)

Guaranteed Hours: 40/week

Local Pay Rate: $60/hr

In This Role, You Will

As a Pharmacist (RPh), you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Operating within the standards of practice and regulations, you'll:

• Oversee the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications for accuracy and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper medication use, potential side effects, and other health considerations.
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
  
  

Educational And Vocational Requirements

• Active RPh License in good standing within the state of Ohio.
• Knowledge of clinical and regulatory pharmacy practices.
• Experience in clinical or hospital pharmacy settings is preferred.
• Adherence to legal requirements, standards, and policies, including compliance with:
• The Compliance and Ethics Program,
• Standard/Code of Conduct,
• Federal False Claims Act,
• HIPAA.
• Report concerns or suspected non-compliance promptly to a supervisor, Compliance Liaison, or Compliance Officer.
• Participate in quality assurance and process improvement activities.
