We are looking for a qualified Team Leader to help manage our team and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis.
As a Team Leader, you should demonstrate exemplary management and leadership skills and ensure that the staff carries out all duties efficiently. Ultimately, an exceptional Team Leader should be able to achieve excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven management/supervisory experience in the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Proven ability to lead in quick paced environments as part of a team
- Basic computer competency
- Strong problem solving skills
- Available to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Sound knowledge of the foodservice industry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- All other duties assigned
Team Leader Duties/Responsibilities include:
- Must be an excellent coach, communicator and team builder
- Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback
- Complete understanding of each key position in both the front and back of the store
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to standing for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 40lbs
- Provides exceptional customer service, including interacting with guests, answering customer inquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints
- Coordinate with vendors and order supplies
- Manage day-to-day operations of the shop
- Follow sanitation and safety procedures
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Strong commitment to excellent customer service and food quality
- Ability to complete opening and closing of the shop on a daily basis
