Victorian Village located in Homer Glen, IL is currently seeking a Life Enrichment Director, Full Time for our Assisted and Independent Living Community. This is an excellent career opportunity for individuals who are truly passionate about providing meaningful activities for our residents.
The primary purpose of your job position is to plan and implement recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs.
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs.
- Encourage residents to participate in scheduled activity programs.
- Create a positive atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and fun.
- Befriend residents to encourage resident self-esteem.
- Promote an environment of safety.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a Activity Aide or Life Enrichment Assistant.
- Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.
- Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and successfully complete a reference check.
