Diagnostic Imaging Assistant, St Josephs Hospital-Chewelah, WA
This position supports clinical, clerical and business office functions of the Diagnostic Radiology. Performs a variety of clerical duties involved in scheduling patients and processing patient information that assists in patient care. Duties focus on answering multi-line phones, scheduling patient appointments, exam preparation, maintaining documents, files, reminder calls for the next day schedule. Job duties also include clerical processes and customer service. Functions as a positive member of healthcare team.

Shift Details:
- Full time, 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, Day Shift
Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training - One year of office clerical education in lieu of experience.
1 year - Office clerical experience or education.
1 year - Experience working in a medical office setting.
Experience with MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multi-line phone and electronic medical record.
ICD-9 and CPT coding experience.
