What are the responsibilities and job description for the Café Barista position at Pruett's Market?
Pruett's Market is a locally owned, community-minded grocery store with a cafe located in the store! We are looking for a coffee-loving, teamwork oriented individual to join our team!
Job Description:
- Preparing drinks such as coffee, lattes, teas, smoothies, etc.,
- Serving ice cream and baked goods
- Assisting in packaging and slicing home-made bread
- Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils
- Proper handling and maintaining of all equipment
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently
- Assisting Food Service in different stations when needed
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
- Observe relevant health and safety standards
Requirements:
- Ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods of times
- Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation
- Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- A polite, engaging personality
LOCATION: 1210 TAFT HIGHWAY, SIGNAL MTN, TN 37377.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
