🧪 What You'll Do
As a key player in our quality assurance team, you’ll be on the front lines of food safety and compliance. Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting, sampling, testing, and weighing product to ensure it meets specifications
- Receiving, testing, and releasing raw materials and finished products
- Identifying non-compliant products and initiating hold procedures
- Observing production processes and adjusting when necessary to maintain quality
- Conducting allergen testing and monitoring critical control points (CCPs) daily
- Performing and documenting pre-operation inspections and routine audits
- Supporting customer, SQF, third-party, and internal audits
- Reviewing product labels for accuracy and compliance
- Upholding all GMP, HACCP, personal hygiene, and safety protocols
- Pitching in on other QA tasks as assigned
- Experience in a food manufacturing QA role with working knowledge of HACCP and GMPs preferred
- AA degree in a science-related field (preferred, not required)
- Basic math skills and a keen eye for detail
- Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs., standing, walking, bending, and climbing as needed
- Ability to navigate between production floor and office tasks
- Strong communication skills—written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams
