About the Role
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient clinic experience. You’ll ensure smooth front-desk operations, assist physical therapists and help maintain a high standard of care and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct patient traffic and manage check-in/check-out procedures
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients in person, coordinating with the Virtual Front Desk
- Support therapists with his tasks including room turnover, supply restocking, and basic monitoring
- Help ensure the clinic meets operational and compliance standards including cleanliness, environment, and documentation
- Participate in outreach efforts to promote services and strengthen community engagement
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare, front-desk, or customer-facing role (preferred)
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Friendly, professional, and patient-centered attitude
- Familiarity with EMR systems and/or healthcare scheduling software is a plus
