What are the responsibilities and job description for the PROCESS TECHNICIAN 3rd shift position at PTI?
Duties
- Capable of completing a tryout from process establishment to part qualification.
- Establish processes that will meet internal and customer requirements.
- Determine conformance of product to customer requirements.
- Provide necessary required documentation for set up sheets, startup checklist, first piece approval forms.
- Ensure tool changes are done in a timely fashion and are set up properly,
- Responsible for startup of machine in a timely manner.
- Communicates with strong interpersonal skills in both written/oral forms.
- Support supervisor as needed with manufacturing related tasks.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of materials/engineering resins
- Minimum of 3 years set-up and processing experience
- Familiarity/experience with aluminum tooling
- Must have the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform all job duties listed above, with or without accommodation.
- Ability to meet all job qualifications for position as listed within the job description and as listed by Manager.
