What are the responsibilities and job description for the OGA Orton-Gillingham Training/Coaching position at Public Schools of Brookline (Districtwide)?
The Public Schools of Brookline seeks an individual who can provide OGA Orton-Gillingham training coaching on an as needed basis. The coach/trainer would support teachers of students with specific learning disabilities in reading and/or writing district-wide and would demonstrate extensive knowledge of specific learning disabilities and reading and ELA assessments. The coach/trainer may be required as needed to run Orton-Gillingham Associate Level training, upholding the standards of the Orton-Gillingham Academy. OGA Coach/Trainer will have at least 10 years of successful special education teaching experience, be a Fellow or Fellow-in-Training of the Orton-Gillingham Academy with a Master’s degree in special education.
