Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will assist customers in selecting and purchasing cannabis products, provide information about different strains and their effects, and ensure a positive and safe experience for all customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the growing cannabis industry and contribute to the well-being of our customers.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate cannabis products based on their preferences and needs
- Provide accurate information about different strains, THC/CBD content, and consumption methods
- Educate customers on responsible cannabis use and harm reduction strategies
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Handle cash transactions with precision and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Maintain inventory levels by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products
- Keep the dispensary clean and organized at all times
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual skills are a plus
- Previous experience in technical sales, electronics sales, or wireless sales is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods is desirable
