Job Description: Parts Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Be at work timely and work full days. The position is Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.
- Learn and be familiar with CCC1 parts management system
- Mirror match all incoming parts to cars at shop.
- Post all parts invoices same day.
- Confirm and return parts that are needing to be returned back to dealers timely. Do not let parts hang around the shop. Keeping on top of parts credits is essential.
- Stay up to date with repairs in the shop and getting parts to the technicians and painter so production can continue properly.
-Be in all production meetings and work directly with GM and estimators to make sure correct parts have been ordered and cars can continue to move through the shops production.
-Be available to GM to go get parts, move vehicles to sublet vendors/dealer/etc.
-Stay up on the parts dashboard to make sure parts have been ordered and sublet work is happening on each individual repair order.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a body shop or parts department a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Outlook, CCC1
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus
