JOB SUMMARY
Pulsar Title Insurance Company Inc., a Louisiana title insurance underwriter, is seeking an experienced, energetic, and self-motivated sales professional to grow our Louisiana agency network and production. This role is relationship-driven and field-based, and is focused on recruiting new agents, expanding production with existing agents, and strengthening Pulsar’s presence in the real estate and settlement services community. Success requires consultative selling, disciplined pipeline/CRM management, and strong follow-through.
JOB DUTIES
- Execute a weekly territory plan across Louisiana: in-person agency visits, meetings, presentations, trainings, and follow-ups.
- Recruit, qualify, and onboard new title agents; support early-stage launch and adoption.
- Grow production with existing agencies through consultative selling, account management, and service/operations coordination.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Pulsar and agency partners; resolve issues promptly with internal teams.
- Deliver product/process training and demonstrations; train agencies on Pulsar tools and online resources.
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, notes, and follow-ups in Zoho CRM; provide regular status reporting to management.
- Monitor production trends and agency reports; identify lost business, growth opportunities, and retention risks.
- Track competitor activity and market conditions; provide actionable market intelligence and recommendations.
- Ensure all marketing/business development activity complies with company policies and applicable state/federal requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
KEY PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
- Maintain an active prospect pipeline and consistent weekly field activity across Louisiana.
- Drive measurable growth via new agent appointments, reactivation of dormant relationships, and increased agency production.
- Provide clear, consistent reporting on pipeline, activity, and market insights; maintain strong responsiveness and follow-through.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years’ experience in title, escrow, or a closely related real estate industry role (sales/marketing strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to build relationships, prospect, and grow accounts using a consultative sales approach.
- Highly organized and results-oriented; able to prioritize multiple initiatives and follow through independently.
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, video, and in-person); professional presence with clients and partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar).
- Reliable transportation required; ability to travel extensively throughout Louisiana.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior underwriter agency development / title insurance sales experience in Louisiana.
- Existing relationships with Louisiana title agencies, real estate attorneys, lenders, and/or key referral sources.
- Demonstrated success driving agent production through training, onboarding, and account management.
- Strong CRM discipline (activity tracking, forecasting, and reporting cadence).
