Job Summary
Smart Manufacturing Lab Assistant
The lab assistant works with the lab managers to support the School of Engineering Technology by providing operational assistance in the class laboratories. In particular, this role focuses on, but is not limited to, the four smart manufacturing labs in Dudley and Lambertus Halls. Responsibilities may include performing routine maintenance, optimizing existing processes, integrating new equipment, and engineering new systems. Areas of work may include mechanical, electrical, industrial, robotics, programming, IT/networking, and data science.
Education
Currently pursuing a degree in engineering technology, engineering, or related field.
Experience
Experience from an internship, working in industrial/manufacturing settings, or working with hand tools is a plus.
