- We are seeking a superstar Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team of medical professionals! The ideal candidate is a team player with a “cando” attitude that can readily adapt in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to the dermatologist in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, performing minor procedures, cosmetic procedures and providing patient education on skin care and preventive measures. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of dermatology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. 1 years of experience in medspa, plastic surgery or dermatology practice required. EMR experience required; Modernizing Medicine EMA experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dermatologist with patient care.
- Assist the dermatologist with skin exams and biopsies.
- Assist with minor surgeries.
- Assist with cosmetic procedures.
- Provide patient education on skin care and treatments.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, prior authorizations, prescription refills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
