Responsibilities
Interpreters will travel to and from medical facilities within Lexington, KY to interpret for patients during their appointments.
Appointments will be assigned during your availability on an as-needed basis. Therefore, hours may vary from week to week depending on patient need.
While we are seeking qualified medical interpreters in all languages, our top language priorities are:
English<>Spanish
English<>Nepali
English<>Swahili
English<>Kinyarwanda
Qualifications
- Completion of at least 40 hours of medical interpreter training
- High School diploma or GED
- Proof of oral proficiency in both English and your target language(s)
- Must be able to complete a medical terminology assessment to demonstrate proficiency
- 1 years of professional interpreting experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
