The Opportunity
Responsibilities of this career opportunity includes taking pharmaceutical orders on refills only, either over the phone from health care providers or in person from patients; assisting the pharmacists in delivering high quality pharmaceutical care as directed; accurately performing data entry of prescriptions; counting, labeling, processing, and organizing stock medications while maintaining inventory separation between 340B and non-340B; ordering and checking in pharmaceuticals, including controlled substances (except CII substances); assisting with pharmacy inventory control; Assisting the registered pharmacist in filling prescriptions; checking out pharmaceutical purchases and assisting patients in the clinic pharmacy; referring medication questions and problems to a registered pharmacist; maintaining prescription records in electronic health system; prepackaging unit dose drugs for internal distribution and maintains appropriate records under the supervision of a registered pharmacist; serving as a front-line person in the clinic pharmacy and responding to the general public’s questions and comments, except for drug therapy; performing Pharmacy transaction payment tracking and till reconciliation; maintaining filing and organization in the clinic pharmacy; providing cleaning and general maintenance of the pharmacy; performing other duties as assigned.

This career opportunity requires:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Pharmacy Technician National Certification and State of Montana Pharmacy Technician License Required
- Previous pharmacy experience required.
