As a Body Piercer, you will be responsible for providing clients with expert piercing services in a welcoming environment, ensuring their safety and satisfaction throughout the process. Duties
- Perform body piercings with precision and professionalism, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Consult with clients to determine appropriate piercing options, placement, and aftercare instructions
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing equipment and work areas before and after each procedure
- Educate clients on aftercare procedures to ensure proper healing and minimize complications
- Manage appointment scheduling and assist with store management tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a comfortable environment and addressing client questions or concerns
- Assist in store operations, including inventory management and product sales related to body jewelry and accessories
- Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tattooing or body piercing; certification or licensing as required by local regulations
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and infection control procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate clients and collaborate with team members
- First Aid & CPR certification is required to handle any emergencies professionally
- A certificate attesting to the successful completion of a course in blood-borne pathogens and body piercing infection control is required
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients
