SUMMARY:
Putnam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, located in Putnam County, New York, has been trusted by families to care for their loved ones. - Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
- Assist in the transport of residents
- Provide companionship and basic care to residents
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
- Be alert and active in supporting facility’s commitment to safe practices
- Care for Residents
- Provide basic patient care and treatment
- Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
Requirements
- Possess a sincere interest in geriatrics
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be knowledgeable of general healthcare issues related to resident care
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing (Required)
