IBM DataStage Developer

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using Client DataStage (v11.x or higher).
• Gather and analyze requirements, design ETL mappings, workflows, and pipelines.
• Perform data validation, optimization, and error handling for large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data delivery.
• Provide guidance and direction to offshore developers and act as the primary technical point of contact.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and compliance with data security policies.
• Conduct code reviews and participate in performance tuning efforts.
• Prepare technical documentation and support production deployment.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills:IBM Datastage, ETL, SQL Server .
• 7 8 years of experience in Client DataStage development and ETL processes.
• Strong SQL knowledge with experience in relational databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2).
• Ability to lead and manage offshore teams .
• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills .
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with job scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys, Control-M) is a plus .
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data governance practices .
• Experience in banking or financial services domain.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data lake integration.
• Agile/Scrum methodology exposure.
