What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician (PRN) position at Pyramid Healthcare?
Pyramid Healthcare, an industry leader in behavioral healthcare, is excited to announce the opening of our new facility in Radford. At Pyramid Healthcare in New River Valley we will be specializing in Substance Use Disorder treatment. We have been in operations since 1999 and currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues. Hourly Rate: $15/hour (before shift differentials!)
Schedule: 16-24 hours/week with rotating weekend scheduling
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Complete the intake process with new clients into program
• Maintains client documentation
• Observe an document client self-administration of medication as applicable
• Coordination of client activities
• Follows objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
• Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides response including crisis intervention
• Maintains safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
• Assists with the dietary needs of clients
• Other duties as assigned
Education:
High School Diploma required
