At Pyramid Healthcare Mountaineer Inpatient in Kearneysville, we specialize in Substance Use Disorder treatment. Pyramid Healthcare Inc. has been in operations since 1999 and we currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues. Schedule: 40 hours/week
Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals in establishing necessary connections with available supports in the community that will facilitate initiation and on-going engagement in the recovery process.
- Assists individuals in developing and solidifying long-term recovery supports, and providing services before, during, and following an individual's engagement in the treatment continuum.
- Work with the individual's family, service and treatment providers, other programs, and community supports to assist in achievement of these goals.
- Initiates and develops treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues and other staff.
- Performs individual and process group therapy sessions under the direction of the treatment supervisor including preparing materials for sessions.
- Manages client files and attends treatment team meetings with psychiatrist and staff.
- Communicates with referral sources and company representatives.
- Participates in community meetings with clients.
- Completes family sessions as necessary.
- Prepares utilization reviews with appropriate funding sources as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Licensure, & Experience
- REQUIRED: High school Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in a human services or related field
- Recommended: One year of work experience in a substance abuse treatment facility and/or direct client support
