Job Summary
As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to company employees with computer systems, hardware, and software issues. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Respond to IT support requests in a timely manner and provide technical assistance to end-users
- Set up new user accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
- Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation accurately
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve more complex technical issues
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
Skills
- Proficiency in network administration, help desk support, and computer management
- Knowledge of Mac OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP, LAN, and computer networking
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with users to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
