The role plays a critical part in achieving overall profitability and success in the Cyber underwriting business.
- Location: Chicago, IL - MN, Remote - IN, Remote - MI, Remote
- Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week
- The salary range for this role is between $75,000 - $123,500
- Manage underwriting activities across multiple distribution channels.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in product development, innovation, and testing.
- Participate in relevant meetings to share and develop strategy, knowledge, and best practices.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes, recommending changes to company policies and procedures where appropriate.
- Establish and promote the company image with key clients.
- Evaluate risk for new business and renewals to ensure profitable growth.
- Adhere to underwriting standards, instructions, and good practice to minimize risks and maximize efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of channel strategic plans.
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, internal audit, and other governance and compliance requirements.
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
