Sr. Technology Planning Manager

SUMMARY

Hanwha Qcells is looking for a Sr. Technology Planning Manager who will be responsible for driving technology strategy and product competitiveness for Qcells’ U.S. manufacturing operations. This role will lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, CTO organization, HQ, and Manufacturing Division to introduce advanced technologies, manage partnerships, and oversee product development initiatives that strengthen Qcells’ position in the U.S. PV market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute mid-to-long-term technology and product strategies for U.S. manufacturing.
• Identify and introduce new technologies to enhance product competitiveness in the U.S. PV market.
• Manage collaboration with internal stakeholders (Sales Division, CTO, HQ, Manufacturing) and external partners.
• Oversee product development projects, ensuring alignment with market requirements and corporate objectives.
• Monitor industry trends and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Lead and mentor the Technology Planning Team to achieve organizational goals.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10 years in manufacturing, product planning, technology planning, or technology-driven business development.
• Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and strategic projects.
• PV industry experience preferred but not required.
• Strong strategic thinking and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technology trends.
• Proficiency in English; Korean language skills preferred but not mandatory.
