DATA ANALYST

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our Engineering Support for C5ISR Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division contract.

Duties:

• Analyze technical data associated with the next generation of PNT systems.
• Evaluate large sets of system performance data generated from test events.
• Analyze data related to integrated GPS receiver, Inertial Measurement Unit (Unit) and other complementary sensors.
• Investigate data related to position and integrity performance.
• Responsible for identifying and reporting trends in the data sets.
• Responsible for conducting message level checks from the systems to ensure system is performing correctly (message compliance quick looks).
• Effectively communicate findings through written technical reports.
• Brief results to external stakeholders and provide input to questions on results.
• Continue to learn and use already developed data analysis tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Technical knowledge of data analysis and experience identifying trends.
• Proficiency in MatLab and Python.

Required Clearance/Other:

• ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least two (2) years of related experience.

Travel:

Less than 10% travel is expected for this position.

Work Environment:

This position may be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, commercial and/or government offices, test and integration labs, government facilities and depots, and test & evaluation and proving grounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
