Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $26-$33/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: Monday-Friday, start times between 5am-7am until production is done; on-call rotation schedule for after hours and weekend maintenance emergencies, usually once every 3 weeks

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain machines with respect to bearings, assembly, disassembly, power transmission, rigging, and lubrication
- Effectively complete bench work utilizing common hand tools
- Work effectively on electrical systems and components
- Learn to do basic pipefitting of water, steam, and air lines with steel, plastic, and copper pipe materials
- Train and learn all shop equipment and machinery
- Plan and prepare for job layouts and ordering of materials necessary to complete job
- Knowledge in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC units
- Troubleshoot and diagnose machine failures; observe mechanical devices while in operation, listening for problems
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Obtain a trade school or 2-year degree in electrical and/or mechanical training
- Minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in refrigeration and/or welding
- Attention to detail and accuracy; follow up on repairs to ensure equipment performs efficiently
- Must be willing to be fresh water/wastewater certified
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal
- Work schedule is Monday-Friday with varied start times between 5am-7am, working until production is done
- Position requires participation in the on-call rotation schedule for after hours and weekend maintenance emergencies; usually once every 3 weeks
