Job Title: Commercial Lines Insurance Account Executive
Location: Cabin John, MD (2x a week in office)
Compensation: $120,000k - $160,000k bonus excellent benefits package

Our client is a Top 100 P&C Broker dedicated to delivering comprehensive risk management solutions and exceptional service to our commercial clients. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join us in supporting and expanding our client relationships. Ideal individual will have experience managing middle & largest market accounts, experience servicing energy sector clients (preferred, not required), and in-depth knowledge of servicing & placing property coverage.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Account Executive with a strong background in servicing clients within real estate (not required but preferred). In this client-focused role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex commercial accounts, providing strategic support, and ensuring coverage aligns with the unique risks of energy industry clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and service a book of commercial accounts, with a focus on clients in the real estate industry, however the book will be a mixed bag of accounts.
- Advise clients on appropriate insurance coverage, with a specific emphasis on property risks and exposures.
- Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, audits, and certificates of insurance.
- Work closely with producers, underwriters, and carriers to negotiate terms and ensure optimal coverage solutions.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewal summaries.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in agency management systems (e.g., Epic, AMS360).
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and risk management support.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of commercial lines insurance experience, ideally with public utilities or healthcare.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial property insurance, including business interruption, inland marine, and equipment coverage.
- Strong understanding of the unique exposures faced by energy-related businesses.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Familiarity with agency management systems and carrier portals.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
