What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate and Consumer Lead Underwriter position at Quad City Bank & Trust?
Quad City Bank & Trust is looking for a Real Estate and Consumer Lead Underwriter to join our team. This position is responsible for the underwriting for all QCBT residential real estate portfolio loans processed through Ruhl Mortgage as well as consumer loans submitted from all business lines. Significantly contributes to the development of department lending policies and procedures and works closely with Consumer Lending manager to make recommendations for changes to QCRH Loan Policy.
This is an on-site position.
Ideal candidate must have a college degree or equivalent business experience or training and 5 years' experience in consumer lending with 2 years underwriting experience. Knowledge of all federal and state regulations regarding lending and related departments. Skill in assessing quality of loans originated by the financial institution. Superior analytical thinking and mathematical skills. Must have good communication skills, both oral and written.
