Position: CNC Machinist/Programmer

Overview: Qualdoc is seeking for Mid-Level - CNC Machinist with expertise in CNC Mill and/or Lathe operations. If you have a strong background in Mastercam programming and a commitment to precision, we want to hear from you. Our ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on experience in programming and machining. \n- Mastercam Programming: Utilize Mastercam software to create, modify, and optimize CNC programs.
- Precision Machining: Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to engineering drawings.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Troubleshooting: Work collaboratively with the team to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues efficiently.
- Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Technical Proficiency: At least 2 years of experience in Mastercam and CAM programming.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Machine Operation with machining or programming experience.
- Precision Skills: Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and understanding of GD&T.
- Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC machining operations, including machine setup, tooling, and changeout programming.
- Blueprint Reading: Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and blueprint reading.
- Must know how to calculate speeds and feeds for CNC machining.
- 5 years of experience in a machine shop environment.
