We are hiring a Senior Plant Accountant with a well-established, growth-oriented global manufacturing organization.
This role is ideal for someone with strong plant accounting and cost accounting experience who enjoys being hands-on with manufacturing operations. You would be responsible for plant-level financial reporting, cost analysis, inventory and variance management, budgeting, and month-end close activities, while partnering closely with both plant leadership and corporate finance.
Key highlights of the role include:
- Ownership of plant financial reporting and monthly close
- Cost accounting, inventory control, and variance analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations
- Close collaboration with plant management and corporate leadership
- ERP-based reporting (Oracle or similar systems)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 6-8 years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing accounting
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, Bills of Materials (BOMs), variance analysis, and budgeting
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle experience is a plus)
- Ability to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience training plant staff on financial reporting (Oracle preferred)
- Knowledge of Sales Tax, Use Tax, and Property Tax, and experience supporting internal and external audits
- Ability to create and manage the annual plant budget
