- Key Responsibilities
- Material Handling :
- Transport materials and supplies to and from the production line, ensuring all workstations have what they need to operate smoothly.
- Inventory Monitoring :
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages to the team.
- Coordination :
- Work closely with production staff to understand their material needs and adjust deliveries accordingly.
- Safety Compliance :
- Follow safety protocols while handling materials to maintain a safe work environment.
- Support Production :
- Assist with additional tasks, such as cycle counts and other inventory-related duties, as needed.
- Qualifications
- Education :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience :
- 1-3 years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment as a Water Spider, Floater, or Material Handler.
- Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Skills :
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with basic math skills for inventory tracking.
- Safety Awareness :
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
- Technical Proficiency :
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems are a plus.
