We are Hiring for Seasonal Positions with the possibility to become Permanent!

QBS, a leading and dynamic provider of premier facilities-related services to commercial properties in the New York metropolitan area seeks motivated service workers for seasonal work.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of all aspects of maintenance services in order to guarantee a spotless facility. Maintenance services include client spaces, public areas, and rest room maintenance.

We have an experienced team of cleaning and maintenance professionals, many of whom have risen through the ranks from cleaning buildings to managing accounts. And, we’re looking for a hard-working and dedicated individual to join our team.

Evening hours/ flexible working hours preferred!

Responsibilities:

Office cleaning- corporate office space

Removal of trash

Restroom cleaning

Kitchen and pantry maintenance

Lobbies/Elevators and Common areas'

Must be able to take direction from supervisors and ensure all work is completed in the time frames given

Requirements:

Candidate must be flexible in working schedule (work weekends and/or overtime, evening shift)

Professional appearance and good communication skills

Prior cleaning/maintenance experience in commercial or retail space

Can start immediately

You must be capable of standing and walking for long periods, in all types of weather

Ability to lift 50lbs, to bend, reach, lift and carry with or without reasonable accommodation

Ability to take direction and work in a team oriented environment

Must have high energy and strong work ethic

Must be able to commute to Greater NYC area

Punctual and Reliable

Be accessible in the event of an emergency

Must adhere to QBS safety policies

QPS maintains operations 24/7/365 and is an “essential business” in the New York area. We work during normal times as well as when other businesses may be closed down. The position requires flexibility and an ability to work whatever schedule and hours are deemed necessary to efficiently accomplish the work and service our clients, which may include working extended hours, weekends, holidays, and/or during emergency situations, such as natural disasters (storms, including but not limited to rain, wind, snow and ice, floods, power outages, fires, earthquakes, etc.), public health emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic, government-declared states of emergency, labor strikes, and force majeure events. Accessibility to answer questions by email or phone during off hours in accordance with QPS’ policies is expected. The ability to work this schedule is an essential function of the job.
