What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop helper position at Quality Carriers?
Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC), headquartered in Tampa, FL, is North America's largest bulk liquid chemical carrier. Through a network of more than 100 terminals and facilities, we transport a broad range of chemical products and provide our customers with value-added transportation services.
Pay is $20 / hour
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, trade or technical school graduate
- 1 to 2 years basic maintenance and / or mechanic experience
- Valid driver's license
- General computer skills
- Minimum special knowledge and skills required :
- Ability to carry out instructions accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Able to operate heavy machinery similar to steamer or boiler.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of mechanical components.
- Team player.
