Cable Technician - Entry Level to Experienced

Position Summary:

Quality Communications, Inc. is seeking a Full time Cable Technician to aid in installing, relocating, troubleshooting, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables.

The ideal candidate will follow company installation policies. Properly operate and maintain tools and equipment. The candidate will need to be able to prepare and maintain time logs, write-ups, and other related documentation in accordance with company policies. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

Position Requirements/Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly
• Valid driver’s license
• Show up on time and ready to go
• Read and interpret floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets.
• Comply with customer and company safety and security requirements.
• Travel will be within DC / Maryland / Virginia
• Professional behavior and appearance

Tools

• Some basic hand tools will be required. List available on request. No immediate major tool investment required.
