Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service during breakfast hours, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment and smooth food service operations. Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and standards, including food presentation and portion control
- Set up breakfast buffet or dining area, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist guests with menu inquiries, seating arrangements, and special dietary requests
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, bussing, and cleaning surfaces
- Replenish food stations and supplies as needed to ensure continuous service
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payments
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery
- Uphold guest relations by providing friendly, attentive service and addressing guest concerns promptly
- Assist with catering or banquet setups if required
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in food service or hospitality roles such as restaurant server, host/hostess, catering assistant, or culinary support. Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred. Skills in food preparation, meal presentation, cleaning, bussing, and customer service are highly desirable. Additional experience in hotel or banquet settings, coffee service (barista), dietary aide work, or meat cutting can be advantageous. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, knowledge of food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
