Role Overview: 

The individual in this role will provide detailed and thorough cleaning services to their assigned facility according to client needs, while adhering to safety standards and protocols. The individual will strive to provide guaranteed quality cleaning to any task that is assigned to them to ensure every client is satisfied with our services. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Maintain cleanliness standards across client buildings, meeting both the needs of the client and the company 

• Empty trash receptacles from bathrooms, feminine receptacles, public areas and general office areas daily  

• Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including toilets, urinals, counters, mirrors, baby stations and stall partitions 

• Ensure that bathroom supplies (toilet paper, hand soap, towels and client-specific products) are properly stocked; ensure that janitorial closets are properly stocker 

• Wipe down, restock and refresh break areas on a routine basis 

• Dry mop floors where required before wet mopping 

• Wet mop floors where required to remove remaining debris and residue 

• Vacuum daily or on a scheduled basis to keep both public and back of house areas free of dirt and debris 

• Daily use of cleaning chemicals to perform cleaning duties as assigned  

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• At least 6 months of previous cleaning experience in an office, housekeeping, commercial, or industrial setting is preferred 

• Commitment to providing detail-oriented, skilled cleaning services to each client building 

• Ability to safely operate or handle small commercial cleaning equipment, chemicals, solutions and treatments 

• Ability to read and interpret cleaning manuals, instructions and procedures 

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and to exercise good judgement 

• Must possess time management skills and have the ability to work under deadlines 

Physical Requirements: 

• Endure various physical movements throughout the work area; must be able to kneel, stoop, bend, crouch, and reach overhead and below.  

• Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds frequently. 

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout shift 

• Ability to climb stairs is required 

• Manual dexterity with the ability to operate small commercial cleaning equipment
