DD Residential Group Home Supervisor
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Residential Supervisor oversees the direct care staff. This individual serves as a leader and
role model to help promote a therapeutic and healthy environment for our individuals along
with maintaining informed and qualified staff. The Residential Supervisor is expected to
respectfully represent this company and to accomplish the mission and goals set forth. Effective communication via writing and verbal skills is an essential component to performing the duties
of this position. The Residential Supervisor is expected to build strong relationships with the
individuals, staff members, community partners and other service delivery systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee daily programmatic operations
· Coordinate services for present and incoming individuals
· Implement policy and procedures as recommended from Owner, Executive Director and
Program Manager
· Responsible (in conjunction with Program Manager) for hiring and maintaining adequate,
qualified staff
· Assist with Scheduling
· Required to be on call for Residential Program Emergencies. (Phone assistance provided)
· Assist individuals with ADL’s
· Provides individual support and encouragement
· Advocate for individual rights
· Attend ISP, SIS… meetings and other meetings as deemed necessary by management
· Audit Direct Care Staff Documentation – notes, MAR, etc.
· Strong verbal and written communication
· Demonstrate time management
· Manage and report on program appearance and maintenance (House Appearance and
Postings, etc.)
· Manage Grocery and Supply inventory
· Assist in and plan Program Outings
· Facilitate in service trainings
Administer medication
· Teach compensatory strategies within community setting
· Communicates effectively with individuals, staff, and community affiliations
· Maintains documentation in compliance with all licensing agencies
· Performs and manages assigned house maintenance and cleaning tasks
· Performs crisis intervention as needed
· CPR and First Aide certified
· Transport individuals as needed
· Medication Management
· MANDT-Training re: behavior management
· Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUUIRED
· Must have Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate work experience
· Must have at least five years’ experience in the social services profession, management
experience
· Must have a valid Virginia’s driver’s license
· Proof of valid automobile insurance
· Successful completion of a Comprehensive Criminal Background and Central Registry

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
