Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Identify and pursue potential clients through proactive prospecting and networking activities.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored freight solutions to meet their requirements.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to ensure profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in freight sales, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure profitable deals.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge of transportation modes, regulations, and logistics practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
