The Personal Care Attendant/Homemaker is a responsible individual who cares for the home and promotes safety for the patient. The Homemaker can plan, prepare, and serve meals while providing an attractive environment for the patient. They will conduct light housekeeping such as vacuuming, sweeping and dusting. They may also make and change the patient's bed and keep the kitchen and bathroom clean and tidy. They may also go grocery shopping and do the patient’s laundry.
Requirements of the Personal Care Attendant/Homemaker
- No certification required for the Personal Care Attendant/Homemaker Aide position
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation
- Auto insurance
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
